then, after it flitted back a bit, looking at the mirror sombrero showed The Empty Space In The Sky, but also the eye pattern

there’s a black hole in the space equidistant between almachadta and the beast

there’s something, we don’t know what, that seems to prevent things leaving the beast via atmospheric escape (basically by going up)

however, we were able to get a fiend into outer space with an application of liminal gnosis, and found out two particularly interesting things

the first, is that, when the telescope in the observatory looked upon a reflective surface, it basically saw… The Empty Space In The Sky, but also, the multi-eyed cross-eyed sigil (albeit faintly)

(this sigil is the Sanctuary Discord server icon)

so that’s weird,

but also, the fiend was given orders to ‘turn towards salme“, who was in the observatory in the annex. however, the fiend was initially confused about this, because they sensed salme from two different locations*

location 1 was in the empty space in the sky,

location 2 was in the black hole

so the wild theory I’m proposing is that the black hole is a warp in timespace that is contiguous with where the annex is

because it’s a wormhole,

and is also the reason the fiend sensed two salme locations, because one was at the entrance of the wormhole (the black hole) and the other was… basically through the hole of the telescope of the observatory

… huh! I could see it

I had likened this setup to be like an inside out sock, where if you put your finger through the hole, that’s the observable universe, the black hole. and then the tip of your finger, surrounded by fabric, but is ultimately unviewable from the outside (it is also noted that no information escapes the black hole, and that the empty space in the sky can’t be perceived either)

except, the telescope can view outwards, and is why the fiend was able to sense salme there
