| 3d ago | Salme | marginalia | I am additionally reasonably sure that her many, many eyes number thirteen in total---the one that watches in the Cathedral, and the twelve that are blinded by the moons. |
| 3d ago | Salme | marginalia | The implication here is, I think, that the moons in part serve to blind Her, and in doing so stop Her from fulfilling her enormous hunger (and it is enormous; after I got back I ate an absurd amount of food). Once the moons are no longer blinding her sight (and perhaps her other senses?) She is unbound and able to ... hatch ... from the Beast-skin. I'm still not sure why the moons are being destroyed, unless it is the overage of burning gnosis on the Beast that allows for it? |

| Jun 13, 2026 | Salme | prolegomenon | Beginning this for the problem that threatens the Beast. I am not sure if we actually understand what threatens Samudra or Almachadta any better, but the shape of the problem here seems more obscure, at least to me. |
| Jun 13, 2026 | Salme | marginalia | I do think it's interesting that the Beast seems to be *alive* in a way that I do not think Almachadta or Samudra were. Wolf might be able to lend more insight into this, or Zaya. |
| Jun 13, 2026 | Salme | marginalia | Further discussion of "Teratourgeion" can be found on the Linkpearl under [`Ancient Names`](https://strangepaths.aludel.xyz/bbs/the-forum/41). Once Caion has answered my questions about the terminology fully, I'll add it to our [*Running Glossary*](https://strangepaths.aludel.xyz/library/a-running-glossary-of-terms-encountered-whilst-walking-the-strange-paths) here. In short, it seems to mean a multivalent term encompassing both "miracle-works" and "monster factory." |
| Jun 13, 2026 | Salme | marginalia | I *do* think this is correct. I also suspect that something about the mechanism of the moons serves to ... contain her? |
