It has come to my attention that, on the Beast, we are considered clan (right and proper) and we are in need of a clan name. Currently, our clan name is “Clan Saving Worlds,” as coined by Awoken. If everyone finds this adequate, I suppose I am outnumbered. Aurelius has also offered “Clan Wildfire” and “Clan Wallflower” as I recall, but has also expressed respect for “Clan Saving Worlds.” I’ve got to say I am not similarly inclined, but I don’t have a better idea.
How’re the rest of us feeling?

I did find a notebook with a lot of different ideas… but those were the two that stood out to me the most.
My inclination is “Wildfire” but I’m not sure how well all of us identify with the fire motif. “Wallflower” feels … is there a meaning there I’m missing? There’s Awa’s flowers but I’m not sure how applicable it is to everyone.
Maybe “Saving Worlds” is best? I don’t know. I just feel like names matter.

I trust your judgment and taste, Aury. Again it just seems like if we’re all going to be identified as such we should probably all weigh in.
Do we need like. A sigil or symbol? Clan Twitherwhatever has those loud silks and purple butterflies?
A coat of arms could be made, though isn’t strictly necessary.
What does a coat of arms entail? Are there standard symbols?
Mostly you can just kind of do whatever really, I feel like at one point in history they might have been a bit more standardized and serious and then people got more subversive and silly as time went on and… well you’ve heard of Clan Too Many Boots and likely can imagine theirs (several boots)
Hmm. I’ve been thinking it would be nice to have some kind of symbol (or set of symbols) for us but thinking of something cohesive is difficult. There’s animals, weapons, the ꙮ symbol I guess. The true suns seems thematic but I’m not sure.
I feel like I should be good at this but I didn’t every choose the sparrow sigil I use for myself.
Words and Images are fairly different, to be fair.

I guess any symbol should match the name regardless. “Wildfire” gives us some lovely flame motifs, “Wallflower” florals, and “Saving Worlds” gives us. Hopefully not too many questions about what precisely needs saved.
One admits to a preference for “Wildfire,” though I suspect it will be easier in many respects to ‘go with the flow’ and adhere to the moniker already circulating.

Honestly “Angelfish” is the kind of oblique but on the nose that makes me laugh. I considered proposing it myself, actually. “Sixfold Alethic” has a nice ring to it as well. I guess we could … I don’t know, vote? Roll a die for it?
“Wildfire” still remains solid in my book as well, though. Hm. It was Annarr and his friend’s pick. I don’t know if that’s a weight we want to carry or not.
